# Plans, activation and fees

> Free core, optional Enterprise modules and Marketplace/Business contract conditions.

## Check the displayed offering

Ardoise offers a free core and optional Enterprise functions. Account permissions, country, module activation and server-side pricing policy determine available actions. A visible page is not sufficient authorisation: an API may return `feature_requires_subscription`.

For an OHADA school, the founder checks **Activation & Installation**, modules and current conditions before paying. Finance/accounting, payroll/HR, canteen/stores, library and analytics can require separate activation. The activation code identifies an installation; it does not purchase a module. Amounts, currencies, durations and available providers come from the current preview, not fixed prices published here.

## Marketplace and Business

Tutoring contracts can include commission or fees configured for their acquisition and country. Review the booking preview and contract tracking. A newly self-acquired institute customer can receive zero Marketplace commission only under verified attribution rules; Marketplace customers retain their fees. See [Business](/en/guide-utilisateur/business).

Profile promotion is a separate option. Lesson statements and payment states are neither institute invoices nor accounting. Do not infer institute subscription prices or unfinished functions from the School offering.

## School payments and platform revenue

A school configures its own provider credentials for tuition. Credentials used for Ardoise's own revenue never substitute for them. Admission fees, contract activation, subscriptions and promotion are distinct purposes with their own checks. Read [payments](/en/plateforme/paiements) before configuring them.

## Offline operation and countries

A school installation can continue authorised local operations without internet while its server remains reachable. Enterprise features also depend on licence synchronisation and a configured grace period, commonly 14 days; an extended interruption may block them until reconnection. Marketplace, payments and remote services require connectivity.

Ardoise School is not offered in Austria. CountryConfig and a country list establish neither identical offerings nor regulatory approval. Check the [terms](https://ardoiseeduc.com/terms) and conditions displayed for your use case.
