Ardoise does not charge for installation or maintenance - but not every school has someone on site who is comfortable with a server. The certified partner network puts schools in touch with independent developers verified by Ardoise, available for paid installation and maintenance, directly between the school and the partner.
Ardoise reviews the application before publishing the partner. Installation/maintenance terms are agreed between school and partner; this is distinct from tutoring Marketplace commissions.

Finding a partner

The certified partner directory lists every approved partner, filterable by country. Each profile shows their specialities and contact details.

Granting remote support access

Once in touch with a partner, the founder can grant them limited, temporary remote support access from the Activation & Installation tab of their dashboard:
1

Select the partner

In the Remote Support Access card, choose the partner from the list of certified partners.
2

Choose the scope and duration

Tick what the partner may view or trigger (server status, backup status, triggering a backup), and for how many days (7 by default, 90 maximum).
3

Revoke at any time

The access expires automatically on the chosen date, or can be revoked immediately from the same card.
This access is strictly limited to server and backup status - never to grades, accounting or pupil records. It gives no system access to the machine: no SSH, no console, no shell. See also Remote access for the difference with your own Cloudflare tunnel.

Becoming a certified partner

1

Create a developer account

Sign up at saas.ardoiseeduc.com with the Developer role.
2

Apply from the Developer Space

Fill in your public name, country, specialities and contact details in the Certified Partner Network card.
3

Wait for verification

An application is reviewed by the Ardoise team before appearing in the public directory - you can see the status (pending, approved, rejected) directly from the Developer Space.
An approved partner can also generate an API key with the support:access scope (see Public API) to interact with the schools that have granted them access programmatically rather than from the dashboard.

Developer Academy and certification

In the developer workspace, Developer Academy offers modules, quizzes and integration/sandbox exercises for the partner journey. Follow the displayed steps and submit the application; progress does not replace final approval. This developer journey is distinct from the learner-facing Academy: Learning describes what a learner sees there and who may publish it. School-installation support concerns the OHADA scope; an Austrian institute is not a School installation to administer.
